President pro tempore Bisignano took the chair at 2:07 p.m. MOTION TO RECONSIDER WITHDRAWN House File 428 Senator Rensink withdrew the motion to reconsider House File 428, a bill for an act relating to the expenditure of moneys deposited in an E911 service fund, filed by him on April 12, 1996, and found on page 1368 of the Senate Journal. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTIONS (Regular Calendar) Senator Horn asked and received unanimous consent to take up for consideration Senate Resolution 114. Senate Resolution 114 On motion of Senator Boswell, Senate Resolution 114, a senate resolution honoring Iowa State University track and field coordinator and former head mens cross country coach Bill Bergan on his retirement, was taken up for consideration. Senator Boswell moved the adoption of Senate Resolution 114, which motion prevailed by a voice vote. Senate Concurrent Resolution 117 On motion of Senator Szymoniak, Senate Concurrent Resolution 117, a concurrent resolution designating the week of April 14 through April 21, 1996, as Days of Remembrance of the victims of the Holocaust, with report of committee recommending passage, was taken up for consideration.
