SPECIAL GUESTS Senator Horn presented Iowa State University basketball coach Tim Floyd, who address the Senate with brief remarks and expressed his pleasure with his team and the university. Coach Floyd introduced the team members and support staff present with him in the Senate chambers. The Cyclones ended the season with a 24-9 record and finished second in the Big Eight Conference which earned them a trip to the NCAA tournament. The Senate rose to express its welcome and appreciation for all the hard work done by the team.
