ADOPTION OF RESOLUTIONS (Regular Calendar) Senate Concurrent Resolution 2 On motion of Senator Rensink, Senate Concurrent Resolution 2, a concurrent resolution to request that the United States Internal Revenue Service and the United States Congress act to allow farmers to use deferred payment contracts without being subject to alternative tax liability, was taken up for consideration. 17th Day WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29, 1997 165 Senator Rensink moved the adoption of Senate Concurrent Resolution 2, which motion prevailed by a voice vote. Senate Concurrent Resolution 3 On motion of Senator Jensen, Senate Concurrent Resolution 3, a concurrent resolution encouraging the federal government to investigate the pricing of liquid propane gas and other heating fuels, was taken up for consideration. Senator Dvorsky offered amendment S-3025 filed by him on January 28, 1997, to pages 1 and 2 of the resolution and moved its adoption. Amendment S-3025 lost by a voice vote. Senator Jensen moved the adoption of Senate Concurrent Resolution 3 and requested a record roll call. On the question "Shall the resolution be adopted?"
