Graduated Flatrock Township High School. Studied law two years. Christian, member of Baptist Church. Owner and operator of nursing homes. Distributor for cosmetics and jewelry in four states. Member of Masonic Lodge, Triangle 643, Abu-Beker Shrine Temple, Sioux City Consistory, past Patron of the Order of Eastern Star, Rotary International No. 95, Sioux City Hawkeye Club, Sioux City Business Leaders' Club, and a member of the Sioux City Chamber of Commerce. Former employee of Iowa Tax Commission. Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan were married in the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa, March 10, 1940. Mrs. Sullivan is the former Madeline Scott, born at Knoxville and raised in Sioux City. The Sullivans have two children, Mrs. Milton Rosio, Milwaukee, Wisc., and John, a junior at Sioux City Central High School. Serving first term.
