Charge
Created as a response to the passage in 1978 of H.F. 2440, which included provisions setting July 1, 1979 as the target date for the establishment of a unified state mental health agency, and prospectively repealed the statutes which created the Iowa Mental Health Authority and the Division of Mental Health Resources of the Department of Social Services.
