Amendment H-1641 lost.
Weigel of Chickasaw asked and received unanimous consent that
amendment H-1642 be deferred.
Weigel of Chickasaw offered the following amendment H-1644 filed
by him and moved its adoption:
H-1644
1 Amend Senate File 324, as amended, passed, and
2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
3 1. Page 5, by inserting after line 3 the
4 following:
5 "4A. BUSINESS HOURS. a franchisor may only
6 require a franchisee to keep the franchisee's retail
7 outlet open for business for a specified number of
8 hours per day or per week if the requirement is
9 negotiated in good faith by both parties, is arrived
10 at by mutual agreement, and is based on a bona fide
11 business need."
12 2. By renumbering as necessary.
