         The motion lost by a voice vote and the Senate refused to concur in
    the House amendment.

         Senator Husak asked and received unanimous consent that Senate File
    2448 be immediately messaged to the House.

    House File 2190

         The Senate resumed consideration of House File 2190, a bill for an
    act relating to the publication of certain notices, ordinances, and
    amendments by the superintendent of printing, deferred March 25, 1996.

         Senator Lind asked and received unanimous consent that action  on
    House File 2190 be deferred.

    House File 111

         The Senate resumed consideration of House File 111, a bill for an
    act exempting from regulation certain homeowners association swimming
    pools, deferred March 26, 1996.

         Senator Neuhauser offered amendment S-5637 filed by Senators
    Neuhauser, et al. , on April 2, 1996, to page 1 of the bill and moved
    its adoption.

         A non record roll call was requested.

         The ayes were 32, nays 14.

         Amendment S-5637 was adopted.

         Senator Hansen moved that the bill be read the last time now and
    placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and the
    bill was read the last time.
