House File 555
On motion of Senator Murphy, House File 555, a bill for an act
relating to the deduction and credit for amounts paid for tuition and
textbooks for elementary and secondary schools under the state
individual income tax and providing effective and applicability date
provisions, with report of committee recommending passage, was taken up
for consideration.
Senator Kramer offered amendment S-3624 filed by her on April 28,
1996, to page 1 of the bill.
Senator Murphy raised the point of order that amendment S-3624 was
not germane to the bill.
