IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED Senator Horn asked and received unanimous consent that Senate Files 2364, 2355, 2344, 2433 and 2399 and House Concurrent Resolution 114 be immediately messaged to the House. CONSIDERATION OF BILL (Appropriations Calendar) House File 2477 On motion of Senator Kibbie, House File 2477, a bill for an act relating to the funding of, operation of, and appropriation of moneys to agencies, institutions, commissions, departments, and boards responsible for education and cultural programs of this state and making related statutory changes and providing effective date provisions, with report of committee recommending amendment and passage, was taken up for consideration. Senator Kibbie offered amendment S-5427 filed by the committee on Appropriations on March 20, 1996, to pages 1, 3-14, 17-20, 23-27, 30-32 and 34-39 of the bill. The Senate stood at ease at 11:07 a.m. until the fall of the gavel for the purpose of a party caucus.
