Carpenter since 1976, and member of Local #4. Married Judy Marten of Davenport in 1976. Children: Troy, Todd, Douglas Sean, Tosca, and Micaela. Member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and Metropolitan Opera Guild. First term.
