B.S., Northeastern Missouri State Teachers College 1958, M.A., 1962. Graduate work Texas A & M, University of Iowa. Teacher and coach Jefferson Senior High. Married Beverly Morse, Bloomfield, 1956. Children: Julie, Gregory. In U.S. Army 1953-1955. Member Methodist Church. Past president Kiwanis and Cedar Rapids Education Association, on Cedar Rapids Kids League Baseball Board, past board member Linn County Historical and Museum Association. Legion member, former member Democratic State Finance Committee, former Linn County Democratic Central committeeman. Third term.
