Has been business representative of his local union since 1955 and is now directing business representative of Dist. 102, International Association of Machinists. Iowa vice president of the Quad City Federation of Labor. Appointed by Governor Hughes to the judicial nominating committee. Serving on various committees in Scott County, including mayor's youth committee and various committees dealing with vocational and technical training. First term.
