Active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Member of Amvets, V.F.W., and Elks Lodge. Member, Church of Christ. Served as 6th District vice-chairman on political education. Employee of Hy-Grade Food Products. Member of the Meatcutters Union, Local 191. Holds an insurance license in the state of Iowa; represents Washington National Insurance Company. Serving first term.
