Storm Lake Buena Vista County Democrat. Born in Murray, Iowa in 1921, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ge. Miller. Graduate of Storm Lake Public Schools. Served in Army from July 1940 to September 1945. Received Bronze Star Award for Service. Married Helen E. Roberts of Storm Lake, October 14, 1945. Four children: Barbara, 18; Stephen, 15; Richard, 12, and Maryann, 7. Active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Member of Amvets, V.F.W., and Elks Lodge. Member, Church of Christ. Served as 6th District vice-chairman on political education. Employee of Hy-Grade Food Products. Member of the Meatcutters Union, Local 191. Holds an insurance license in the state of Iowa; represents Washington National Insurance Company. Serving first term.
