Trustee Traer municipal utilities. Ground Observer Corps supervisor. Associate member International Flying Farmers; member of QB, a national fraternal organization of Pilots. United Church of Christ, deacon and trustee. Commissioner, Iowa State Aeronautics Commission 1955-1963. First term in legislature.
