Rockwell City Republican 27th Senatorial District Calhoun and Webster Counties Born at Danforth, Illinois, December 23, 1889. Attended public schools at Harvey, Illinois, and a Chicago business college. Married June 30, 1910, to Lillian Robinson of Harvey. They have three children, Mrs. Ray Davis, Harvey; Mary K. Heideman, who is serving as her father's clerk in the Senate; and George E. Heideman, of Rockwell City; and six grandchildren. In earlier years he was employed in sheet metal and machine shops. For 20 years he was engaged in the coal and feed retailing business. The past eight years have been spent in operating a 200-acre farm in partnership with his son, George. A Methodist, having served 35 years as a member of the official board. A past president of Rotary club and other civic organizations. Past president of Calhoun County Farm Bureau. Serving his first term in the Senate.
