Married Helen Barbre, Webster Groves, Mo., 1945; three children: Barbara, Margery, Helen. Farm Manager, secretary treasurer Fox Farm Supply Corp. Served with First Marine Division in World War II. Vice-president American Soybean Association; Vice-president Upper Mississippi Flood Control Association; member of 1968 Republican State Platform Committee, American Legion, American Society of Farm Managers, Farm Bureau, Fort Madison Chamber of Commerce, Iowa Society of Farm Managers, Masons; trustee, Iowa Wesleyan College; elder, Union Presbyterian Church.
