Born in Vermillion County, Indiana, March 24, 1831. He came to Iowa in 1855. Mr. Henderson married Miss Martha E. Lawrence on April 9, 1856. He followed farming until 1879. He is now a merchant at Anderson and owns a farm of 400 acres. Mr. Henderson has held various township offices. He represented Fremont County in the Nineteen and Twentieth Iowa General Assemblies, 1882-1884.
