Senator from the thirty-second district, composed of Woodbury county, was born on a farm near Solon, Johnson county, Iowa, September 11, 1869; son of Robert B. and Sarah E. Lytle. Moved with his parents to Buena Vista county in 1877, remained there until 1898, then moved to Sioux City, Iowa, where he has since resided. Was married to Miss Lena E. Klingemann in 1900. They have one son, Francis K. Lytle. Has been engaged in construction work and real estate business since moving to Sioux City. Elected senator in 1916. Republican in politics.
