Father of six children, three boys and three girls. Is in the out-door advertising business. Served as a councilman from 1950 to 1954. During World War II he was a technical sergeant in the Marine Corps. Belongs to the Knights of Columbus, Elks, American Legion, the Moose, the Community Club and the Iowa Good Roads Association. His hobby is music. Serving first term.
