Received the Agriculture Business Manager award of the year, 1970. American Soybean Council official representative International Trade Fair, Jakarta, Indonesia 1962. Former member of Iowa Development Commission. President of St. Anthony Regional Hospital Board. State Representative 1965-66. Elected to Senate 1972.
