Corning Adams County Republican Born on a farm in Adams county, July 12, 1885. Son of Archie and Mary Oliver Turner. Attended rural school, Lenox high and one year at Tarkio college, Tarkio, Missouri. Married to Jennette Murchy, October 12, 1911. A farmer and breeder of Jersey cattle and Hampshire swine all these years. Charter member and past president of the Adams county Farm Bureau. Served as secretary and treasurer of Adams county first corn sealing board. Was member Farm Debt board, and two terms on Farm Home Administration board, also P.M.A. township board. Member and elder of Presbyterian church. Served in Senate 49th and 50th sessions.
