1 Amend Senate File 392, as amended, passed, and
2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
3 1. Page 3, by inserting after line 6 the
4 following:
5 "Sec. __. APPLICABILITY DATE.
6 1. The amendments to sections 459.307, 459.308,
7 and 459.310, as provided in this Act, are applicable
8 upon the effective date of the rule adopted by the
9 department of natural resources pursuant to chapter
10 17A which provides upgraded construction design
11 standards for formed manure storage structures
12 constructed on karst terrain or an area which drains
13 into a known sinkhole as provided in section 459.307.
14 2. The department's adopted rule referred to in
15 subsection 1 and as published in the Iowa
16 administrative bulletin shall include a notice in its
17 preamble. The notice shall state that the amendments
18 to sections 459.307, 459.308, and 459.310, as provided
19 in this Act, are applicable upon the effective date of
20 the adopted rule. The department shall deliver a copy
21 of the preamble and adopted rule to the Iowa Code
22 editor within fifteen days after the adopted rule is
23 published in the Iowa administrative bulletin."
24 2. Title page, line 2, by striking the words "an
25 effective date" and inserting the following:
26 "effective and applicability dates".
27 3. By renumbering as necessary.

Amendment H-1348 lost.

And placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was
read a last time.
