Manternach of Jones offered amendment H-1346 filed by him as
follows:

1 Amend Senate File 392, as amended, passed, and
2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
3 1. Page 2, line 19, by striking the word
4 "fourteen-month" and inserting the following:
5 "eighteen-month".
6 2. Page 2, by inserting after line 31, the
7 following:
8 "(__) The replacement formed manure storage
9 structure replaces the confinement feeding operation's
10 existing manure storage and handling facilities."
11 3. By renumbering as necessary.
Kuhn of Floyd offered the following amendment H-1353, to
amendment H-1346, filed by him from the floor and moved its
adoption:
H-1353
1 Amend the amendment H-1346, to Senate File 392, as
2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
3 follows:
4 1. Page 1, by inserting after line 2, the
5 following:
6 " . Page 1, line 18, by inserting after the
7 word "rock." the following: "If a person constructs
8 such an unformed manure storage structure, the person
9 must also install and operate a water pollution
10 monitoring system as part of the unformed manure
11 storage structure as required by the department.""
A non-record roll call was requested.
The ayes were 35, nays 48.
Amendment H-1353 lost.
On motion by Manternach of Jones, amendment H-1346 was
adopted.
Kuhn of Floyd offered the following amendment H-1348 filed by
him and moved its adoption:
