  1  1    Amend Senate File 392, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 3, by inserting after line 6 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec. __.  APPLICABILITY DATE.
  1  6    1.  The amendments to sections 459.307, 459.308,
  1  7 and 459.310, as provided in this Act, are applicable
  1  8 upon the effective date of the rule adopted by the
  1  9 department of natural resources pursuant to chapter
  1 10 17A which provides upgraded construction design
  1 11 standards for formed manure storage structures
  1 12 constructed on karst terrain or an area which drains
  1 13 into a known sinkhole as provided in section 459.307.
  1 14    2.  The department's adopted rule referred to in
  1 15 subsection 1 and as published in the Iowa
  1 16 administrative bulletin shall include a notice in its
  1 17 preamble.  The notice shall state that the amendments
  1 18 to sections 459.307, 459.308, and 459.310, as provided
  1 19 in this Act, are applicable upon the effective date of
  1 20 the adopted rule.  The department shall deliver a copy
  1 21 of the preamble and adopted rule to the Iowa Code
  1 22 editor within fifteen days after the adopted rule is
  1 23 published in the Iowa administrative bulletin."
  1 24    #2.  Title page, line 2, by striking the words "an
  1 25 effective date" and inserting the following:
  1 26 "effective and applicability dates".
  1 27    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
