INTRODUCTION OF BILL

House File 683, by Gipp and Myers, a bill for an act relating to
economic development by creating an Iowa values board and Iowa
values fund, modifying the value-added agricultural products and
processes financial assistance program, providing endow Iowa seed
grants and endow Iowa tax credits, providing funding and tax credits
for economic development regions, creating workforce training and
economic development funds for community colleges, establishing a
school financing program for school infrastructure purposes, creating
a cultural and entertainment district certification program,
increasing the availability of rehabilitation project tax credits,
eliminating a small business advisory council, making
appropriations, and including effective date and retroactive
applicability provisions.
