  Senate File 2367

  On motion of Senator Redwine, Senate File 2367, a bill for an act
  relating to county vital statistics by providing for the issuance of
  marriage licenses and eliminating the fee for county birth
  registrations, was taken up for consideration.

  Senator Redwine asked and received unanimous consent that
  action on Senate File 2367 be deferred.

  Senate File 2282

  On motion of Senator Schuerer, Senate File 2282, a bill for an act
  establishing an electronic benefits transfer program in the
  department of human services, was taken up for consideration.

  Senator Schuerer offered amendment S-5159 filed by him from the
  floor, to page 1 of the bill, and moved its adoption.

  Amendment S-5159 was adopted by a voice vote.

  Senator Schuerer asked and received unanimous consent that
  House File 2468 be substituted for Senate File 2282.

  House File 2468

  On motion of Senator Schuerer, House File 2468, a bill for an act
  establishing an electronic benefits transfer program in the
  department of human services, was taken up for consideration.

  Senator Schuerer asked and received unanimous consent that
  action on House File 2468 be deferred.

  On motion of Senator Maddox, Senate File 2284, a bill for an act
  relating to rural improvement zones, was taken up for consideration.
