Senate Resolution 114 On motion of Senator Boswell, Senate Resolution 114, a senate resolution honoring Iowa State University track and field coordinator and former head mens cross country coach Bill Bergan on his retirement, was taken up for consideration. Senator Boswell moved the adoption of Senate Resolution 114, which motion prevailed by a voice vote. Senate Concurrent Resolution 117 On motion of Senator Szymoniak, Senate Concurrent Resolution 117, a concurrent resolution designating the week of April 14 through April 21, 1996, as Days of Remembrance of the victims of the Holocaust, with report of committee recommending passage, was taken up for consideration. Senator Szymoniak moved the adoption of Senate Concurrent Resolution 117, which motion prevailed by a voice vote. Senator Horn asked and received unanimous consent to take up for consideration Senate Resolution 115. Senate Resolution 115 On motion of Senator Deluhery, Senate Resolution 115, a senate resolution honoring the memory and efforts of United States Secretary of Commerce Ronald H. Brown, was taken up for consideration. Senator Deluhery moved the adoption of Senate Resolution 115, which motion prevailed by a voice vote. HOUSE AMENDMENT CONSIDERED Senate File 2256 Senator Maddox called up for consideration Senate File 2256, a bill for an act relating to possession or control of alcohol by persons aged eighteen, nineteen, and twenty, and providing a penalty, amended by the House in House amendment S-5707 filed April 10, 1996.
