         Amendment S-5298 lost.

         Senator Tinsman offered amendment S-5295 filed by her from the
    floor to page 10 of the bill and moved its adoption.

         Amendment S-5295 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Hammond withdrew amendment S-5274 filed by her on March 11,
    1996, to pages 11, 31, 33, 36 and 47 of the bill.

         Senator Hammond offered amendment S-5284 filed by her on March 11,
    1996, to pages 11, 31, 33, 36 and 47 of the bill and moved its adoption.

         Amendment S-5284 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Deluhery offered amendment S-5256 filed by Senators
    Deluhery, et al., on March 11, 1996, to page 17 of the bill and moved
    its adoption.

         Amendment S-5256 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Szymoniak offered amendment S-5277 filed by her on March
    11, 1996, to page 22 of the bill and moved its adoption.

         Amendment S-5277 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Dvorsky offered amendment S-5271 filed by him on March 11,
    1996, to page 27 of the bill and moved its adoption.

         Amendment S-5271 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Horn asked and received unanimous consent that action  on
    Senate File 2442 be deferred.



                     HOUSE MESSAGES RECEIVED AND CONSIDERED

         The following messages were received from the Chief Clerk of the
    House:

         MR. PRESIDENT: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the
    House has on March 12, 1996, passed the following bill in which the
    concurrence of the House was asked:

         Senate File 2135, a bill for  an act providing for the organization
    of cooperative corporations, providing for fees, and providing for
    penalties.
