         The Senate resumed session at 10:20 a.m., President Boswell
    presiding.

         Senator Hammond offered amendment S-5285 filed by Senators Hammond
    and Tinsman on March 11, 1996, to pages 6, 12, 16, 22, 30, 31, 33,
    35-37, 42 and 43 of the bill and moved its adoption.

         Amendment S-5285 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Hammond offered amendment S-5275 filed by her on March 11,
    1996, to page 6 of the bill and moved its adoption.

         Amendment S-5275 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Hammond offered amendment S-5272 filed by her on March 11,
    1996, to pages 6-8, 21, 33, 40 and 41 of the bill and moved its
    adoption.

         Amendment S-5272 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Rife offered amendment S-5298 filed by him from the floor
    to pages 9 and 10 of the bill, moved its adoption and requested a record
    roll call.
