1 1 Amend Senate File 2442 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 6, line 22, by inserting after the words
1 3 "implement the" the following: "screening component
1 4 of the".
1 5 #2. By striking page 7, line 30, through page 8,
1 6 line 3, and inserting the following:
1 7 "2. The department shall negotiate with the
1 8 department's contractor for mental health managed care
1 9 under the medical assistance program to establish
1 10 performance standards for successful outcomes for
1 11 persons receiving services under the contract. The
1 12 performance standards shall be incorporated into the
1 13 contract or shall be made an addendum to the contract
1 14 which is in effect as of the effective date of this
1 15 subsection. The contractor's attainment of these
1 16 performance standards shall be a factor in the
1 17 department's decision to extend the contract in effect
1 18 for managed mental health care or to initiate a new
1 19 procurement process. Any future contract shall
1 20 contain sanctions for failure to attain the
1 21 performance standards."
1 22 #3. Page 21, line 17, by striking the word "or"
1 23 and inserting the following: "and".
1 24 #4. Page 33, by striking lines 2 through 4.
1 25 #5. Page 40, by striking line 4, and inserting the
1 26 following: "pharmacists association, shall propose a
1 27 pilot project for an".

1 29 "limit." the following: "The change required by this
1 30 subsection shall be implemented in a manner which is
1 31 cost neutral."
1 32 #7. Page 40, by inserting after line 19 the
1 33 following:
1 34 " . In the event that the department and
1 35 providers of services under the department's
1 36 rehabilitative treatment program for children and
1 37 families mutually agree to revise the department's
1 38 rules providing reimbursement rates under the program,
1 39 the department may adopt rules implementing the
1 40 revision. Prior to adoption of the rules, the
1 41 department shall provide a description of the
1 42 agreement to the chairpersons and ranking members of
1 43 the joint appropriations subcommittee on human
1 44 services. The provisions of this subsection shall be
1 45 separate from the provisions of subsection 10."
