484A.3  Repealed by 98 Acts, ch 1199, §26, 27; 98 Acts, ch 1223, §30. 484A.4Use of revenue.1.  All revenue generated from the migratory game bird fee shall be used for projects approved by the commission for the purpose of protecting and propagating migratory game birds and for the acquisition, development, restoration, maintenance, or preservation of wetlands, except for that part which is specified by the commission for use in paying administrative expenses as provided in section 456A.17.2.  The commission may enter into contracts with nonprofit organizations for the use of fifteen percent of such funds outside the United States if the commission finds that such contracts are necessary for carrying out the purposes of this chapter.[C73, 75, 77, 79, 81, §110B.4]484A.498 Acts, ch 1199, §24, 27, 98 Acts, ch 1223, §30, 2021 Acts, ch 76, §150484A.5Projects approved.Before approving and allocating funds for a proposed project to be undertaken outside this state or outside the United States, the commission shall obtain evidence that the project is acceptable to the government agency having jurisdiction over the lands and waters affected by the project.[C73, 75, 77, 79, 81, §110B.5]C93, §484A.5484A.6Penalty.Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a simple misdemeanor.[C77, 79, 81, §110B.6]C93, §484A.6
