Senate Study Bill 3174 - IntroducedA Bill ForAn Act 1relating to allowable forms for payment for amusement

3BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
1 Section 1. Section 99B.5, subsection 2, Code 2018, is
2amended to read as follows:
32. Except as provided by subsection 1, a participant in
4an activity authorized by this chapter may make payment by
5cash, personal check, money order, bank check, cashier’s check,
6electronic check, or debit card. In addition, a participant in
7an amusement concession at a fair as authorized by this chapter
8may also make payment by credit card.
9EXPLANATION
10The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
11the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly.
12This bill provides that a participant in an amusement
13concession at a fair as authorized by Code chapter 99B may also
14make payment by credit card.
