3BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
1 Section 1. IOWA CULTURAL TRUST FUND. Notwithstanding
2section 8.57E, subsection 2, there is appropriated from the
3taxpayer trust fund created in section 8.57E to the office of
4the treasurer of state for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
52016, and ending June 30, 2017, the following amount, or so
6much thereof as is necessary, to supplement appropriations made
7for the following designated purpose:
8For administration of the Iowa cultural trust fund created
9in section 303A.4:

11 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Act, being deemed of immediate
12importance, takes effect upon enactment.
13EXPLANATION
14The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
15the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly.
16This bill appropriates $6,135,000 from the taxpayer trust
17fund created to the Iowa cultural trust fund for the fiscal
18year 2016-2017, to supplement appropriations otherwise made for
19administration of the Iowa cultural trust fund.
20The bill takes effect upon enactment.
