3BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
1 Section 1. NEW SECTION. 1.19 Actions of certain
2international organizations not binding.
3A rule, regulation, fee, tax, policy, or mandate of the world
4health organization, united nations, or world economic forum is
5not binding on Iowa and shall not be enforced or implemented
6by the state or an agency, department, board, commission,
7political subdivision, or other entity of the state.
8EXPLANATION
9The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
10the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly.
11This bill provides that actions of the world health
12organization, united nations, or world economic forum are not
13binding on Iowa and prohibits state and local governmental
14entities from enforcing or implementing such actions.
