4BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
1 Section 1. MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT — NURSING FACILITY
2LEVEL OF CARE — INDIVIDUALS ON SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY. No
3later than January 1, 2024, the department of health and human
4services shall implement a reimbursement methodology under the
5Medicaid program for services provided to individuals who meet
6nursing facility level of care requirements and are required to
7register as sex offenders pursuant to chapter 692A.
8EXPLANATION
9The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
10the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly.
11This bill requires the department of health and human
