4BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
1 Section 1. REBUILD IOWA INFRASTRUCTURE FUND — GROUT
2MUSEUM DISTRICT. There is appropriated from the rebuild Iowa
3infrastructure fund to the department of cultural affairs for
4the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023, and ending June 30,
52024, the following amount, or so much thereof as is necessary,
6to be used for the purpose designated, notwithstanding section
78.57, subsection 5, paragraph “c”:
8For providing a grant to the Grout museum district at the
9Sullivan brothers veterans museum for costs associated with a
10World War II exhibit:

12EXPLANATION
13The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
14the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly.
15This bill appropriates $500,000 from the rebuild Iowa
16infrastructure fund to the department of cultural affairs to
17provide a grant to the Grout museum district at the Sullivan
18brothers veterans museum for costs associated with a World War
19II exhibit.
