BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
Section 1. Section 12J.2, subsection 1, Code 2022, is
amended to read as follows:
1. “Company” means any business or business entity,
including a wholly owned subsidiary, majority-owned subsidiary,
parent company, or affiliate of such business or business
entity, that is publicly traded and that is not based in the
United States.
