3BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
1 Section 1. Section 562B.10, Code 2021, is amended by
2striking the section and inserting in lieu thereof the
3following:
4562B.10 Terms, conditions, and policies of rental agreements.
5Property owners of manufactured home communities or mobile
6home parks shall work to reform terms, conditions, and policies
7of rental agreements in the property owner’s manufactured home
8community or mobile home park.
9 Sec. 2. Section 562B.27A, subsection 1, unnumbered
10paragraph 1, Code 2021, is amended to read as follows:
11A landlord’s written notice of termination to the tenant
12required under section 562B.10, subsection 5, a notice of
13termination required under section 562B.25, a notice of
14termination and notice to quit required under section 562B.25A,
15or a notice to quit required by section 648.3, shall be served
16upon the tenant according to one or more of the following
17methods:

19The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
20the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly.
21This bill relates to rental agreements terms, conditions,
22and policies for manufactured home communities or mobile home
23parks.
24The bill provides that property owners of manufactured home
25communities or mobile home parks shall work to reform terms,
26conditions, and policies of rental agreements in the property
27owner’s manufactured home community or mobile home park. The
28bill makes a conforming change.
