3BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
1 Section 1. Section 99G.34, subsection 5, Code 2019, is
2amended to read as follows:
35. Player name and address lists, provided that the.
4However, the names and addresses of prize winners shall not
5be withheld unless a prize winner requests the authority to
6withhold the name and address of the prize winner.
7EXPLANATION
8The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
9the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly.
10The bill provides that a lottery prize winner under Code
11chapter 99G can request the Iowa lottery authority to have the
12name and address of the prize winner withheld from disclosure
13to the public.
