441—77.25(249A) Ambulatory surgical centers. Ambulatory surgical centers that are not part of hospitals are eligible to participate in the medical assistance program if the ambulatory surgical centers are certified to participate in the Medicare program (Title XVIII of the Social Security Act as amended to July 1, 2026). Freestanding ambulatory surgical centers providing only dental services are also eligible to participate in the medical assistance program if the dental board has issued a current permit pursuant to 481—Chapter 579 for any dentist to administer deep sedation or general anesthesia at the facility.Related ARC(s): 0314D
