CHAPTER 1163State park accessibility for persons with disabilities — research, recommendations, and public informationH.F. 2364AN ACT requiring the natural resource commission to research and develop recommendations relating to state park accessibility for persons with disabilities.Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa: Section 1. Section 461A.3, Code 2024, is amended by adding the following new subsection: NEW SUBSECTION. 3. The department shall research and develop recommendations to increase the accessibility of people with disabilities in state parks and public recreation. The department shall provide public information on the department’s internet site and in brochures about opportunities for people with disabilities in state parks and public recreation.Approved May 16, 2024
