CHAPTER 121Driver education — distracted driving instructionH.F. 380AN ACT requiring approved driver education courses to include instruction concerning distracted driving.Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa: Section 1. Section 321.178, subsection 1, paragraph a, subparagraph (1), Code 2021, is amended to read as follows: (1) A minimum of four hours of instruction concerning substance abuse and distracted driving. Sec. 2. Section 321.178A, subsection 3, paragraph a, subparagraph (3), Code 2021, is amended to read as follows: (3) Four hours of classroom instruction concerning substance abuse and distracted driving.Approved May 20, 2021
