CHAPTER 1053Medicaid home and community-based services elderly waiver — elimination of monthly capH.F. 2269AN ACT relating to the Medicaid home and community-based services elderly waiver monthly budget maximum.Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa: Section 1. MEDICAID HOME AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES ELDERLY WAIVER MAXIMUM. The department of human services shall eliminate the monthly budget maximum or cap for individuals eligible for the Medicaid home and community-based services elderly waiver. The department shall track the average amount expended per waiver recipient each fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020, and shall report the information annually to the governor and the general assembly by October 1.Approved June 17, 2020
