CHAPTER 118Vulnerable elder — definition changesH.F. 328AN ACT relating to the definition of vulnerable elder.Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa: Section 1. Section 235F.1, subsection 17, Code 2019, is amended to read as follows: 17. “Vulnerable elder” means a person sixty years of age or older who is unable to protect himself or herself from elder abuse as a result of age or a mental or physical condition or because of a personal circumstance which results in an increased risk of harm to the person.Approved May 10, 2019
