At the state level, served on the boards of Iowa Division of Banking, Iowa Student Loan Liquidity Corporation, Iowa Department of Economic Development, the state’s Targeted Small Business Program, Brownfield-Grayfield Board, and Iowa’s Main Street Program. Inducted into the Iowa Women’s Hall of Fame in 2011.
