Volunteer for SCORE, a free service to start-up businesses and entrepreneurs. Past chair of the Iowa Bankers Association, Dyersville Area Chamber of Commerce, and Dubuque Chamber of Commerce. Presently serves as a board member of Stonehill Franciscan Services, Finley Hospital, Principal Bank Board, and Operation New View. At the state level, served on the boards of Iowa Division of Banking, Iowa Student Loan Liquidity Corporation, Iowa Department of Economic Development, the state’s Targeted Small Business Program, Brownfield-Grayfield Board, and Iowa’s Main Street Program. Inducted into the Iowa Women’s Hall of Fame in 2011.
