Member of the Colonial Williamsburg Society and its Duke of Gloucester Society. Owns an Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship-recognized Heritage Farm that has been in the family since 1852. Hobbies are woodworking, trapshooting, genealogy, horticulture, hunting, and travel.
