Serves on the board of Iowa Math and Science Coalition, Women in Public Policy, Greater Cedar Rapids Foundation, Belin-Blank International Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development, and Iowa Power Fund (ex officio). Recent recognitions include Pillar of the Community Award from Waypoint Organization, Person of the Year from the Asian Alliance of Iowa, Fleming Institute Fellow, and Elliott School of International Affairs, and Global Economic Conference.
