Farmer and retired state trooper. Born and raised in Adair County. Resides in Greenfield. Graduated from Fontanelle High School and Iowa State Patrol Academy. Member of State Trooper Association, National Rifle Association, Iowa Police Combat League, Farm Bureau, and Iowa State Patrol Pistol Team. Wife Mary Carole; two sons, two daughters, and nine grandchildren. Serving third term in House.
